Here are the positions I embrace for administration of the Sheriff’s Office.
- Full disclosure and accountability for all expenditures in the Coles County Sheriff’s Office.
Benefit: credibility of and respect for the legal system.
- Holding government and law-enforcement officials accountable to constitutional mandates.

- Home confinement for seriously ill and non-violent offenders.
Benefit: save taxpayers’ money as a matter of fiscal responsibility.
- Support intervention programs for first-time, non-violent offenders.

- Support drug court programs to address the problems of addiction through interdiction and treatment.
